He was born in 1997 in Kadaň and studied drama theatre direction at the DAMU in Prague. For his plays, he has won first place in the prestigious Evald Schorm Award competition three times in a row (for the years 2020, 2021 and 2022). His play Vyhubyt won second place in this poll for 2023 and was performed in the same year under the author’s direction at the Beseda Studio in Hradec Králové. The radio production of his play Sleduj! about YouTube and influencerism won third place in the drama category and the Student Award at the Prix Bohemia Radio 2023 radio festival. In 2023, he was also awarded the Award of the Minister of Education, Youth and Sports for outstanding students and graduates and became the laureate of the Talent of the Year 2023 at the Theatre Critics’ Awards. Ráliš’s production of Mr. Pillow at the Prague Municipal Theatres was nominated as the best production of 2024 at the Divadelní noviny Awards. His most recent works include the successful productions of Nightmares with the Marabou Stork at Prague’s MeetFactory and the author’s Compatible Pieces at the Klicper Theatre.
